Our Programs & Services

Ghana, at 5.6 per 1000 population, is one of many developing nations that is not at the WHO minimum standard [10 per 1,000 population] required to meet a country’s basic transfusion needs.

As a result, restrictive blood disbursement policies have resulted in delayed care for critical patients and in many cases, avoidable deaths.

BloodForce initiatives will help to improve blood collection rates by galvanizing communities to create a culture of giving and volunteering while advocating for world class blood management distribution and coordination.
