At EcoTraining, you can live your African dream for a week, two weeks, a month or even a year.
Do you long to experience a day in the life and work of a safari guide? Are you an avid conservationist at heart wanting to know more about ecosystems, the web of life and all that makes up mother nature? If you answer yes to either of these questions, then our wildlife courses and programs are just what you’ve been looking for!
There’s nothing more experiential and interactive than being a participant on a course at unfenced tented bush camps in prime wildlife areas. Even at luxury safari lodges you won’t get the level of interaction and learning offered by EcoTraining wildlife courses.
Subjects covered include geology and ecology; astronomy; weather and climate; trees and grasses; reptiles, animal behavior; animal tracks, approaching dangerous game; bush survival skills, and much more.
These subjects are taught through exciting wilderness walks and game drives each day as well as interesting lectures with slides in our open-air bush classroom.
