Next Stop Hollywood? Las Torres Bags Another Video Award

We’re proud to announce that one of our promotional videos has captured another prestigious international honor — a silver medal at the 37th Annual Telly Awards in the category of “Best Online Commercial for Travel/Tourism.” With over 13,000 entries from all over the world, this is truly a great honor.

Our 2.5-minute spot about the guest experience at Hotel Las Torres, produced by Free Road Entertainment, received the most votes from people worldwide and also from a judging panel of more than 500 industry professionals. Each panelist was a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of the Silver Telly Council, which upholds the historical standard of excellence the award represents.

“We are truly honored to work together with Free Road Entertainment, who captured our offer of an authentic and natural Patagonia in an amazing way,” says Pablo Araya, Commercial Director of Hotel Las Torres. “When we heard that our commercial was entering the contest, we were already very excited. But the news about winning a Silver Award overwhelmed us. We are very proud to show the world what to expect when visiting Hotel Las Torres Patagonia in the famous Torres del Paine National Park.”

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards honor excellence in local, regional and cable TV commercials, as well as non-broadcast and online video and TV programming. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments around the world.

This year’s Telly competition received over 13,000 entries from all 50 U.S. states and countries on five continents. Judges evaluate entries to recognize distinction in creative work. Entries do not compete against each other. Instead, they are judged against a high standard of merit on a performance scale with Silver as the highest honor.
