SkySafari has launched a new photography tour hosted by award-winning wildlife photographer, cameraman and Leica ambassador Luke Massey.

Massey has been honored as both the global Wildlife Photographer of the Year and European Wildlife Photographer of the Year, as well as winning the wildlife category of Travel Photographer of the Year and Young Environmental Photographer of the Year. His films have been featured on BBC and Netflix and his series of conservation films produced alongside naturalist Chris Packham was awarded the Green Ribbon award for the best environmental campaign.

Traveling aboard a SkySafari Connoisseur aircraft, this seven-night journey is scheduled for 9-16 December 2017 and will highlight the best of Kenya’s national parks. Massey will accompany the group throughout, offering expert advice on photography to ensure that guests not only expand their skills but return home with an impressive portfolio of images.

Throughout the SkySafari participants will receive professional tutorials on understanding the importance of light, framing and understanding the subject, as well as the intricacies of freezing moments in time and the practical skills needed to capture each moment from one adventure to the next.

The $7,500 per person cost includes all SkySafari flights, accommodation on a full-board basis (including house spirits, wine and beer), photography tutorials with Massey, national park fees, game drives, bush meals, sundowners, walking safaris, laundry and statutory taxes.

The itinerary begins with one night at Hemingways, a boutique hotel near Nairobi National Park. From Nairobi, SkySafari flies to Elsa’s Kopje in Meru National Park, then to Loisaba Tented Camp before landing in the Mara for a stay at Sand River Masai Mara. Guests spend two nights at each of these stunning properties.
