Read All About It: Meru National Park is for the Birds

January 13, 2018 - Less than a minute read

Meru Conservation Area’s Facebook page reports that Meru National Park — location of Elewana Elsa’s Kopje Lodge — is the top birding spot in all of north-central Kenya with an incredible 403 different species sighted.

Quotable quote: “This is Meru National Parks’s position as per today on eBird . . . leading in numbers of recorded bird species by e-birders in former Eastern Province! We recorded a stunning 144 species during our last visit and I am sure we missed a few in the process! Congrats to one of Kenya’s richest birding destinations!”
