Africa may have its “Big Five” of wildlife, but Greenland has an equally compelling Big Five adventures that every visitor should have during a visit to the giant North Atlantic island.

Greenland’s Big Five includes a round of dog sledding, viewing the spectacular Northern Lights, meeting the pioneering people who live there, watching whales and getting out into the snow and ice that covers so much of the island’s mainland and surrounding seas.
