Arusha Coffee Lodge Spa Perks Up

Located in the lush gardens of Arusha Coffee Lodge, Peaberries Spa is open again following a major refurbishment that makes it one of the top luxury health and beauty retreats in East Africa.

To celebrate the relaunch, Peaberries has introduced a brand new Coffee Scrub & Body Wrap with ingredients made from coffee beans harvested on the Arusha Coffee Lodge plantation.

Britain’s Luxurious Magazine reports that the new coffee treatment starts with a “body brushing to boost circulation, sweep away dead skin cells, stimulate the lymph nodes, improve the appearance of cellulite, and help the cells and body cleanse and remove waste.” That’s followed by an aromatic coffee body scrub with orange and cinnamon, which works as a natural exfoliant. “The caffeine helps re-energize the skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite, while the oil keeps the skin moisturized.”

The 90-minute treatment continues with a Swedish massage to ease stress and promote relaxation. “Finally, Healing Earth cream is applied to harness the smoothing and invigorating powers of the coffee, cinnamon and orange.”
