Opened in the spring of 2021, Canyon Madness Ranch (CMR) is an outdoor adventure playground in a spectacular wilderness setting overlooking remote Canadian River Canyon in northeast New Mexico.

Located about a 2.5-hour drive from Santa Fe and three-hour drive from Albuquerque, Canyon Madness combines natural splendor with awesome sporting activities, luxury accommodation, gourmet cuisine and superior service.

The ranch revolves around Teepee Lodge, an architectural masterpiece boldly cantilevered over the edge of Canadian River Canyon. The double A-frame structure harbors eight well-appoin

ted suites with contemporary décor, king-size beds, living room, private bathroom and incomparable canyon views. Common areas are large, user friendly and also face the majestic canyon.

Among the many activities are clay and trap shooting courses, and pistol, rifle and archery ranges, ATV/UTV off-road safaris, hiking and climbing, mountain biking, photography, and subject to water levels, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. 

With 14,000 acres to explore, guests can saddle up for a number of horse-related activities including trail rides along the canyon rims and along the river, and equine excursions to Native American and 19th-century homestead sites. The ranch also offers workshops or training in reining, cutting, barrel racing, cow herding, dressage, jumping and more.
