Of special significance is the fact that ProColombia — the national body in charge of promoting international tourism, exports, direct foreign investments, and country brand — received the best tourist board honor for the third time.

This is the result of Colombia’s commitment in developing and promoting sustainable tourism as a way of creating employment, responsible use of natural resources and awareness of the nation’s natural richness.

More than 1.95 million visitors have arrived in Colombia during the first half of 2022, an increase of 218% compared to the same period of the previous year and 88% of the tourist arrivals in 2019 prior to the pandemic.
