The Resort

Set in 50 acres of lush tropical gardens, Kilindi Zanzibar offers an intimate, open-to-nature experience. Originally designed for Benny Andersson of the 1970’s pop group ABBA, the resort comprises a series of white-domed pavilion guest rooms that achieve the perfect marriage between Scandinavian minimalism and the architectural overtones of the island’s Middle Eastern heritage, while encouraging an appreciation and love of nature.

Each of the white-domed pavilion guest rooms is set in a private garden oasis with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean. All feature a private plunge pool, with a romantic outdoor “rainfall” shower for a feeling of oneness with nature. A dedicated butler is assigned to each room to arrange meals, outings, excursions, whatever your heart desires.

A “waterfall” bar at the Main Pavilion overlooks a large 25-meter infinity pool, which also affords views out across the sparkling warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Dining takes place either on the alfresco terrace or on the pristine white beach which runs the length of the property.
