Ready to discover the Arctic in the summer of 2020? Adventure Canada is offering 15% savings on its “High Arctic Explorer” cruises when booked between now and October 31st, 2019.
The voyage between Qausuittuq (Resolute Bay) in northern Canada and Kangerlussuaq, Greenland is being offered twice next year aboard the 198-passenger Ocean Endeavour: July 21st to August 11th, and August 11th to August 22nd.
Among the many cruise highlights are exploring the Tallurutiup Imanga marine protected area, visit the Franklin Expedition graves on Beechey Island and enjoying a traditional Inuit welcome in Mittimatalik (Pond Inlet).
On the other side of Baffin Bay, the voyage along Greenland’s dramatic west coast includes visits to Uummannaq Fjord, the incomparable Ilulissat Icefjord (a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the world’s fastest-moving glacier), the scenic Sisimiut Coast, and Kangerlussuaq (where you just might spot a caribou or muskoxen).
