Extreme Makeover–Las Torres Edition
December 16, 2015 - 3 minutes readWell, maybe not a total makeover. Because the hotel — and Torres del Paine National Park — are already pretty cool.
But with the intention of offering our guests the very best Patagonian wilderness experience, we are committing ourselves to the delivery of even better service than we already have. And that’s all the way through the lodge, from the front desk staff and concierge to the people who tidy your rooms every day, guide you on our fabulous excursions and work diligently behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly in what is basically the middle of nowhere.
That doesn’t mean we are abandoning the basic essence of what makes Hotel Las Torres such an incredible place to stay. We may have expanded beyond the bounds of our original family run lodge. But make no mistake, the property is still suffused with the heart and soul of the Kusanovic family, our long tradition in the region and our insider’s knowledge of the best kept secrets at Torres del Paine. And while we may have added modern conveniences, we are still a genuine Chilean estancia.
Our interior design makeover includes the use of even more wood, equestrian motifs and a range of colors that represent the natural landscape of the Torres del Paine. We’ve also created new spaces for guests to converse, relax, eat and drink so they can more fully appreciate the postcard-perfect landscape outside — named the 8th Wonder of the World in a recent worldwide vote. We are especially proud of the bar area in the heart of the lodge, crowded at the end of each day as guests spin their tales of adventure in the wilds of Torres del Paine. The bartenders are awesome, creative and even brew their own beer.
In addition to new interior design and better service, we have also made it easier to stay at Hotel Las Torres by introducing all-inclusive packages as an alternative to basic room and board. Guests who book these packages have a wide range of activities they can choose from daily. These packages include . . .
• “W in Comfort” 2015/2016 (5 days/4 nights)
• Honeymoon Package (3 to 5 nights)
• Puma Encounter (specific dates, 3 to 5 nights)
