Newfoundland Circumnavigation Cruise

Starting and ending in historic St. John’s, the voyage offers intimate contact with Newfoundland’s lively culture and dramatic scenery via daily expedition stops and community visits. A landfall on the tiny French-ruled island of Saint-Pierre completes the adventure.Famed for its music and stories, Newfoundland is also incredibly picturesque, with a rugged coastline rendered spectacular by autumn foliage and light. The flavors of the province come to life in the fall, with fresh seafood and homemade confectionery as the hallmark of any gathering.

Newfoundland’s rich natural history — including the remarkable geology of Gros Morne National Park — is second only to its incredible cultural offerings.

The Ship

Ocean Endeavour is the perfect vessel for expedition cruising. Outfitted with 20 Zodiacs, advanced navigation equipment, multiple lounges and a top-deck observation room, she is purpose-built for passenger experiences in remote environments.

The ship is certified 1B Ice Class, enabling her to freely explore throughout the Arctic summer. Her shallow draft and maneuverability allow her to access isolated fjords, bays, and secluded communities.

Launched in 1982 and with a capacity of 198, Ocean Endeavour has had numerous upgrades, most recently in 2016. At 137 meters in length, she has plenty of interior and exterior space including comfortable lounge chairs, a swimming pool, two saunas and even a hot tub. The spacious interior allows for varied workshops and presentations to occur simultaneously. The three lounges are optimal locations for seminars, events, parties, and conversation.
