Forbes just announced its 20 best places to travel this year, a list that includes Bariloche in Argentina’s Patagonia region (which anchors the eastern end of the Cruce Andino route through the Andes Lake District) and Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes (which anchors one end of the Peru Ecocamp trekking route along the Salkantay Trail.
