Travel + Leisure magazine reports that major expansion is in the works for Keflavik International Airport in Iceland.

Quotable quote: “Efforts to boost tourism in Iceland have led to some big changes at Keflavik airport in Reykjavik. The airport is predicting more than 10 million travelers will pass through its terminals this year — five times more than the number of passengers seen over the past nine years. Now, the airport wants to invest about $1 billion over the next seven to eight years to make room for new airlines and routes.”
