Peter Frinton’s Iceland
December 15, 2016 - 1 minute readOne of 10 travel agents that accompanied Jessie to Iceland in September, Peter Frinton blogged about the experience (see link below).
Iceland is such a place of contrasts that no two people can expect similar experiences . . . except possibly lacking the words to properly describe the awe and grandeur of the scenery, as well as the incredible achievements of a country with the population equal to that of a small- to medium-sized city.
So our two-week trip mid September was a small slice of what Iceland offers. This was a travel agent fam trip in the real sense — to familiarize yourself with an exciting new destination, one that has experienced a huge increase in visitation over the past five or six years.
The trip comprised an initial three days in Reykjavik, a week-long land/sea tour with Icelandic Pro Tours and Iceland Pro Cruises, and five days self-guided touring along the island’s south coast with a rental vehicle.
