Elikem Akaba
With over a decade of experience in the property services industry, Elikem has cultivated a deep passion for real estate, driving his diverse career across various real estate domains, including property brokerage and management in both residential and commercial sectors. His unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and his ability to adapt has been instrumental in his success across different roles throughout his career.
In his most recent position, Elikem served as a Commercial Portfolio Manager, overseeing a portfolio of over 50,000 square meters with Broll Ghana Limited. His leadership and management skills have contributed to the effective handling of significant commercial properties under his purview.
Elikem holds a BSc in Real Estate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and is a professional member of the Ghana Institute of Surveyors (GhIS). Additionally, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), demonstrating his commitment to excellence and professional development within the industry.
Andy Ashie
With over 15 years of professional experience in the real estate and construction sectors, Andy has overseen assets and projects exceeding USD 300 million. His expertise primarily lies in financial services, encompassing accounting, professional advisory, tax consulting, fund management, and administration at both project-specific and organizational levels.
Operating primarily in the West African region, Andy boasts substantial knowledge of the local real estate landscape. He has collaborated on numerous transactions with renowned international firms such as IFC, OFID, FMO, Hogan Lovells UK, Actis LLP, Aecom, Stanbic, Google, Uber, and Stanbic IBTC. Throughout his career, Andy has distinguished himself by delivering projects within budget and ensuring compliance.
Before joining Equilibrium, Andy held the position of Director at CBRE Excellerate Property Services Ghana Ltd, where he provided strategic leadership and managed business operations. Prior to that, he served as the Projects and Financial Controller for West Africa at Profica International and held roles such as Projects Financial Controller and Company Accountant at Laurus Development Partners Ltd. He also served as the Head Accountant at ARG1 Africa Ltd and began his professional journey at Parakuo Ltd, where he worked in the finance department in an accounting capacity.
Andy holds a BA in Economics and Philosophy from The University of Ghana and is currently a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK).
Ivy Abban
Ivy, a dynamic individual with a positive outlook, has extensive experience in customer relations. She is a self-motivated individual with a goal-oriented approach, known for her hard work and ability to thrive under pressure. With outstanding interpersonal skills, Ivy excels at fostering and maintaining productive working relationships, as well as inspiring and motivating others.
Before joining Gambit, Ivy served as an Office Manager at Fairpoint Properties Limited and as a Sales Executive for Bijou Homes at GHL Properties. Renowned for her composure in busy environments, Ivy possesses a results-driven mindset coupled with adept administrative and financial management skills. She is a high-energy team player committed to enhancing customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
Proficient in planning, problem-solving, and multitasking within fast-paced hospitality environments, Ivy pays meticulous attention to detail and maintains a professional demeanour at all times. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and a master’s degree in Facilities Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Knust). Outside of work, Ivy enjoys choral music and actively participates in outreach programs for children.
